Our intergenerational projects create unique opportunities for people of all ages to connect, share, and learn together. From mentoring programs to themed dinners, we bring participants together to explore life’s important themes—such as our ideals, challenges, and relationships. These experiences foster lasting connections and deepen understanding, bridging generational gaps and enriching both individuals and workplaces. Our intercultural projects support newcomers during the often lengthy journey to fully integrate into Dutch society. Through accessible language education and networking opportunities led by volunteers from diverse sectors—including corporate professionals—we help refugees gain essential language skills and cultural insights. For companies, participation fosters cross-cultural understanding, purpose-driven engagement, and the development of a future proof workforce. Mission & Vision

Our mission

Our mission is simple: to foster connection in an increasingly divided world. By facilitating encounters across age, culture, and institutions, we aim to counteract the growing individualization and isolation that many people face today. These meetings, exchanges, and collaborations help participants gain a sense of belonging and purpose, and contribute to a more connected and understanding society.

Our vision

Our vision is to grow The Good Collective into a nationwide movement, starting with our official launch in 2025 in Amsterdam. Our goal is to facilitate 25 events that bring together 500 individuals in meaningful conversations. In the years to come, we plan to expand to other cities, so that the good collective grows ever larger.

At The Good Collective we believe in the power of collaboration.

We work closely with partners from various sectors, including businesses, educational institutions, and social organizations. These partnerships are integral to our success, helping us create sustainable change in society.

We’ve built strong relationships with local governments, particularly the City of Amsterdam, and various businesses that are eager to engage with newcomers. Whether it’s hosting a workshop on job applications for refugees or developing long-term CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives, we aim to bridge the gap between the corporate world and social impact.
